The National Gallery of Australia will be presenting Renaissance, which will offer audiences an unparalleled chance to see Early and High Renaissance paintings by some of the greatest European artists, from 9 December 2011 to 9 April 2012. We are seeking applications from suitably qualified people who have great communication skills, are self-motivated and professional in their approach to work, and are available during the exhibition period.
Opportunities for casual employment are available in the following areas:
- Front of House – NGA Level 1 - $23.87*ph
Areas include cash handling, ticket sales and visitor services.

Experience working in a retail environment and cash handling skills are required.

Applicants must hold an ACT Security Certificate ll in Security Guarding.

Applicants require relevant Early Childhood/Primary Educator qualifications and have an
understanding of and passion for the visual arts.

Successful applicants will be offered work on a rostered basis including weekends, public holidays, and after hours work. Shift penalties apply. Suitably qualified applicants are encouraged to apply even if you have limited availability; a 3 hour minimum shift is required.
All employment will be subject to a security check.
