Paul Noritaka Tange, President, Tange Associates, and leading architect, speaks about significant 20th-century architect Kenzo Tange's lasting impact on modern Japanese architecture. Kenzo Tange, one of the leading representatives of Japanese architecture of the 20th century, laid the foundation of Japanese modern architecture. Thousands of architects today were either students of Kenzo Tange or were directly influenced by his style. The legacy of Kenzo Tange continues with the firm Tange Associates, which is at the forefront of Japanese and international architecture today.
